Our Story

What used to be expected only by friends and family as holiday treats has grown into a year-round business for George's Candy Kitchen in Forest Grove, Oregon. George, a farmer and carpenter by trade, has always enjoyed cooking, baking, and experimenting in the kitchen. George's candy-making began when his aunt gave him her special peanut brittle recipe. His aunt felt no other recipe came close to its delicious flavor and light, airy texture. George, over the past few years since his retirement, has perfected this recipe and turns out countless batches each year, continuing to create new varieties of toffees and brittles for various holidays and seasons.
